Hello All,

I am new to the site as of this morning :). I am starting to dive again here in North Carolina. Once I get up to my 10 dives, I plan on going for my Advance Open Water and possibly further. I got certidied down in Kingston, Jamaica which was awesome! I am looking for advice on gear. Every month, I plan on buying some new gear. I am starting for the bottom up this time around and I am looking into some fins. I've been on Scubadiving.com and looked at some reviews. Some fins were better than others of course. I've also looked into Cressi, Aqua Lung, and Scuba Pro. Just looking for some advice and recommendations on some gear. Thank you!

Welcome to Deeperblue. We have a Scuba Diving subforum, which would probably be a handy place to ask specific questions about scuba diving. We also have a search function and tons of archival information.

Gear recommendations tend to depend on what you want and what you want to use it for. I bought a lot of my gear at the recommendation of the dive shop owner, then found that it wasn't as versatile as I needed. No big deal, now I have backups, but it's good to have a place to discuss such things.
