hi,

after sebs clinic í got a lot more interested in exhale diving. one concept he talked about was doing a static until contractions followed by a max dynamic (frc).

what i would like to know are the experiences of others and how the dynamic distance and divetime compares to inhale/no static dives. i´m especially interested in how the end of the dynamic develops, severity of contractions, lucidity, etc.

has anyone ever tried?

cheers,

roland

I played with the concept a couple of days, was amazed at how far I could go . FRC and hold to first contraction, could do 50 yards with moderate contractions but no noticeable problems. I could have done some more, but probably not as much as 75. It feels pretty different, hard to describe. Didn't have a buddy I fully trusted, so did not push it. My max dynamic (with fins) is about 90 yards.
