Okay, so basically hate while breath holding static before contractions. I guess I don't have much metal focus or whatever...how could I train this? (side note: While typing this I acutally was holding my breath. I noticed that my frist contraction was around 1:30 which is a little above my average.) I'm guessing it's not ideal to use 02 while holding your breath. Would typing use enough 02 to acutally make a difference? I know some people go through the alphabet, count to 100,000,000 in their mind, ect. Once contractions start hevily it's a lot more easy for me to hold 'cause I can count contractions, feel them and like just try and push myself longer. Do you think over time i'll get used to it?

Yes, the static breath hold part before the contractions is the nice part, you just have it switched around in your head. Seriously though you could try closing your eyes while lying down and try to make yourself spin around in circles or flip upside down and like that. Of course you won't actually do that but you can make yourself feel that way, lost in space, and its fun and the time goes by really fast, untill the contractions start of course. Also don't look at your watch until the first contractions start. Cheers Wes

Watch your favorite tv program, while doing it, then tell us about your times in a few weeks.

lol yeah..this was kinda a dumb post. lol, so i just did 2min holds/2min breath - 10 secs each loop after i posted this... after those were done i increase my holds and decrease my initial breathing time. anyways, i pretty much didn't even prep before the holds before the table. doing table(s), even if they're easy are still very helpful. it was werid 'cause after the first table doing 3 mins wasn't "boring" or whatever.

about the typing...i auctally typed a blog about what i was thinking about/feeling while holding. that was pretty fun.
