Can anyone help? I have been using O2/CO2 tables to help my breath hold. I have a PB hold of 4 minutes. This is my CO2 table:

1.) Ventilate 2:30, Static 2:00
2.) Ventilate 2:15, Static 2:00
3.) Ventilate 2:00, Static 2:00
4.) Ventilate 1:45, Static 2:00
5.) Ventilate 1:30, Static 2:00
6.) Ventilate 1:15, Static 2:00
7.) Ventilate 1:00, Static 2:00
8.) Ventilate 1:00, Static 2:00

This is my O2 table:

1.) Ventilate 2:00, Static 1:30
2.) Ventilate 2:00, Static 1:45
3.) Ventilate 2:00, Static 2:00
4.) Ventilate 2:00, Static 2:15
5.) Ventilate 2:00, Static 2:30
6.) Ventilate 2:00, Static 2:45
7.) Ventilate 2:00, Static 3:00
8.) Ventilate 2:00, Static 3:15

Do these look right/make any sense? I'm questioning the rest times mainly. It seems like they should be shorter.
Any input would be greatly appreciated!
Nic

Doing 2+ min recoveries in a CO2 table makes little sence - you want to keep the CO2, not getting rid of it, hence the recovery needs to be short. Start with a 1'30" or even just 1'00" recovery and go down to 15", which you should then repeat at least three times.

At the O2 table, you can start higher, or increase the increments to 30".

You can find a big choice of different tables and other exercises at APNEA.cz - Apnea Training Manager

Thats what I wanted to know. It didnt feel like it was challenging me. Thanks for the help.

Tried it I did not pass...:(
Well, if you failed the theory test, then learn little bit more about it, and try again. The strict test is necessary for avoiding that people without adequate knowledge about the risks harm themselves. Once you learn more about the physiology, you won't have problems to pass the test, and you will hopefully also become a more safety aware and more responsible freediver.

The beginner freediving portion of this site has a lot of info about all that. You should read through that thread then try again.
