What goes through your mind when performing statics? What do you think about, or where does your mind go?

I try to blank my mind so i do not think of anything. Just relax and feel. Especially in the first part when there are no contractions, i try to be almost asleep. In the second part when contractions hit i still try to feel and relax but keep my mind alert to make sure i exit on time.

I usually don't get enough sleep so I approach static as an opportunity to take a power nap and get some rest. :) Usually I try to visualise that I'm lying in bed after a really tiring day and I'm about to go to sleep. Other times (especially if someone is talking me through it) I focus on relaxing my body, part by part, starting from he head all the way down to the toes. Like Aris I am more alert towards the end, I like making sure I am 110%... but that's just me :)

I don't fins I can ever not think of anything, I always seem to concentrate on something. I guess anything that doesn't excite me, or any thoughts on breathing are good
