i came up with this one last night, as a relaxation routine, and as a quick warmup before i started my dry statics, any feedback on it would be appreciated.

60 seconds slow breathing.
20 second forced exhale static
5 second hook breath
3 deep, slow breaths
10 second forced exhale static
5 second hook breath
3 deep slow breaths
20 second forced exhale static
5 second hook breath
3 slow deep breaths
15 second forced exhale static
5 second hook breath
3 slow deep breaths
20 second forced exhale static
5 second hook breath
3 slow deep breaths
20 second forced exhale static
5 second hook breath
3 slow deep breaths
25 second forced exhale static
5 second hook breath
60 seconds of slow, relaxed breathing.
40 second forced exhale static.

10 minutes of normal breathing, before i get into any tables.

what i consider to be a forced exhale static (as opposed to a passive exhale) is to forcefully empty your lungs, instead of just a normal exhale. i believe (dont have any way of testing this) that on a normal exhale, i empty about 60-75 % of the air in my lungs, in a forced exhale, i empty about 90-95%. anything more than this and i have a very strong urge to cough (same as when i do some dives weirdly)

this quick warmup leaves me feeling unbelievably relaxed. in my first 20 second forced exhale, i get 3 contractions (funny stuff eh? getting contractions in 20 seconds) and feel very uncomfortable, but slowly building them up, i am able to go the 40 seconds afterwards with one very very small contraction at 38 seconds)

im wondering, if im doing any harm to myself... it leaves me feeling totally relaxed, right after that, i was able to go 3 minutes without any contractions, which i find very unusual, even on my best breathholds, i find myself getting contractions usually before 3 minutes, i didnt go for a personal best last night, but it was great doing even a small table without getting any contractions
