Does anyone have a current website where steve alexander products are available for viewing?
Cheers.

Thanks very much for that shoutatthesky.
I noticed the price list is effective as at 1999........ I've been able to found a later site (2001) elsewhere but I haven't been able to find anything current.
B. Kittos' site is a beauty eh!
Cheers.

check out neptonics as well. on steve A. 's website he does a side by side comparison with neptonics,( a sure sign of the quality in my opinion) check out the over under ,2 shot mech. state of the art,(my next build)

What web address are you using to get to SA's site Jason? Yeah, will be getting some neptonics, keen to check out SA's handle and mechs however.
Cheers.

i just looked in my favorites section and i couldnt find the one i was looking for. but i just googled steve alexander trigger and got pics of handles etc. check it out. BTW: if you buy neptonics, get the drilling template, plus go for the tuna trigger, it is better than the reef mech, and worth the extra dough, he also sells euro mechs , just so you know, but you have to ask. what kinda gun you makin? also, the aluminum handle frame that neptonics sell looks WAY better than any plastic handles i have seen, it just takes some hand sanding to make it look good, but well worth it!

I've never been able to get the point of these handle frames that Josh and others are selling. I'm not going to use a handle to beat fish or drive nails- its just something to hold while I pull the trigger, and plastic has always worked just fine.

Jason, will be making 3 reef/small pelagic guns about 1200, with up to 3 x 5/8 bands.
Will prob just use 1 x 20mm or 2 x 5/8 mostly.
Tabbed square-notch (Riffe etc style) 5/16" shafts, snubber and floatline.
Possibly enclosed epoxy/graphite tracks, though I haven't made my mind up fully on this yet, may well save this option for the longer guns and just go with open tracks on the 1200s.
After that will begin on some 1400 and longer inshore/bluewater game mid handles!
Between B. Kitto and Neptonics, some excellent hardware available.
Cheers.

i just said it LOOKS better. it really comes down to the wood workers skill to make cool looking handles. i have made six handles so far with the frames,(neptonics) . on a beautiful teak WOOD gun it seems to keep with the "theme" a little better to have a wood handle. every time i show someone one of my guns, the first thing they comment on is the handle EVERY time. so its not just me that like them. plastic is durable and adequate for sure. but it really just comes down to personal taste.

sounds good! i agree on the smaller guns to leave the track open, i did a bunch of short guns with fully enclosed tracks and they are a little harder to aim at first, plus harder to load.you could do the poured graphite track AND leave it as an open track .it really comes out nice. and you get a slick track for the spear to slide on , plus it looks cool.
