i just bought an omer stick on rail for my excalibur 130. does anyone have any advice on how to best align and attach it?

thanks

1. put the rail on your barrel and make sure its cut to the right lngth, ig not then cut it with a cutter..
2. once the length is right put it on (without removing the sticking paper) then insert the spear and make sure you align it correctly...
3. make some marks along the barrel (maybe with some other sticky paper) to ensure that you outline the desired borders of the rail..
4 - make a slash in the sticking paper (the bottom of the stick on rail) and remove once side (i.e. now half of the rail is actually sticky)
5 - Stick and then repeat with the other half
6 - place the spear and ensure the correct alignment
7 - wipe the sweat off your forehead

Reactions: spaghetti
There is a video from Omer on how to do it, somebody posted a link quite recently. Worth watching, the guy is very, very careful (those Italian artisans - amazing ) & looks like he has developed a system for getting just right. I joked at the time, I half expect him to throw the gun over his shoulder at the end!
