For those who asked me about whether I was going to run No-Limit clinics, the answer is yes...as of May, but numbers will strictly be limited for obvious reasons. Though there is no restriction on how deep you may dive, for obvious reasons we will be employing a step-by-step approach, with check-out dives to establish a baseline for each participant. Equalization (including water equalization) techniques, along with hyperbaric gas effects will be discussed in detail. Participants will also have the opportunity to obtain some physiological feedback from some very special freediving computers that can measure both depth and heart-rate, to any depth. For those interested in these clinics please contact me personally before months end...preferably.

Cheers
Seb

Thanks, Seb fo the info. BTW, do you (yourself) do no-limit dives also FRC? I've read you did once -192m NLT, but that it was with full lungs and a lot of packing. If you dive FRC now, how deep do you go? Is the time the limiting factor at FRC NLT dives, or something else?

192m ...maybe a bit less maybe a bit more...who cares as I was narked and took what I now consider an unacceptable DCS risk.

It would seem that time is the issue, if you can equalize on water. At 105m FRC I felt no discomfort at all. Certainly no narcosis whatsoever, despite diving with a pair of shorts. I'm hoping to find out how deep this summer. Friends and I are aiming to organize a no-limits invitational, of sorts, a la Skandalopetra, in Greece in late summer/early Autumn. I'm now in the process of getting specifically fit for this.

Hi there sebastien, I am surely interested in the NLT clinics, and more interested in FRC in general !!
I am still a begginer, I could do 3+ minutes sta and 40+ meters dyn without too much preperations .. the depth not yet sure, I never tryed diving deeper than 10 m, never had the chance for proper safety conditions so I could try, plus had problem with equalizing (which I think I've managed to solve with island sands help- would see when I go deep), but shall have an answer regarding max depth on March -God willing- .. :)
Now do you think I might be accepted for the Advanced Clinics and/or the No Limit ones ? specially the close ones, such as on april and may ?
