I want to know if anyone has placed any orders recently with www.Subprof.com? I ordered a wetsuit about two months ago that was back ordered for three weeks. They answered E-mail the first three weeks but the last 7weeks I can't get a single response at all from them. Did they kick the bucket or am I being ignored. I've ordered from them before with very friendly and fast customer service so I'm kinda puzzled by all this really.
Anyone know anything. I order Picasso Seal Soft suit with camo pattern which was going to take three weeks to get from Picasso but I didn't think it would take two months or even longer to get it. Thanks for any incite on my problem!

Laxson, I know the guys personally, I'll pass on your message. Let you know what's up by PM.

I'm as puzzled as you. I've bought a lot of times in www.subprof.com, and I've never had problems. In case of delay, they always e-mail or call me to explain what's happening, but my orders arrive usually quite soon. You may insist on e-mailing them, or you could also phone. Their phone number is on their website, and I'm sure that they will give you a good explanation. It's possible that the dealer has ran out of stock, or haven't worked during Christmas. In Spain, Christmas holidays are longer than in other countries.

Subprof told me there was a delay at Picasso but I've talked with Chio Tulsa at Picasso by E-mail and he said there are no delays in the suit I ordered from them. Chio said they were on schedule with their manafacturing. I can understand the wait but after 7 or more e-mails with no response I'm like what's going on here! I placed this order November 18th so I've been waiting awhile! I actually got a response back early this morning saying they are still waiting. I could call but I don't speak Spanish and I live in the US!

SO I don't know what will happen now!

Typical Spanish business attitude although these guys seem to be taking the p**s. If you give me their tel. no. I don't mind calling them for you.

I don't speak Spanish also and I've called them. If you speak English clearly they will understand you:)

but i suppose if you live Spain you have some exposure to Spanish, right?

Chio said he find the order at the factory and it should be sent out nest week to Subprof. So I should get it in about two weeks if I'm lucky

hello people :) This topic really rings a bell - I have ordered my Picasso Ghost on March 26, and everytime I call those guys for the last 2 weeks, they keep telling me either "today" or "this week". Perhaps its a breach of Spanish etiquette to remind like this? Or is it normal to wait for more than 7 weeks for their orders? Thanks for any related info.

when I ordered from them they kept telling me that the items would be sent on such and such date, but of course nothing came. I had to keep calling them time and time again (they can't be bothered to answer a short e-mail) and when i finally (after two months!) recieved most of the things I ordered (they couldn't deliver one item), one of the items was not the same as what I had ordered. My experience is that they are very unprofessional and unreliable, especially compared to my experiences with Diveinn.

So I'm not surprised that you have waited 7 weeks and that they tell you 'today' or 'this week'

yeah i called Juan at subprof yesterday about an order i placed a month ago which he said "today" like 10 days ago, yesterday he said "today" as well...no emails yet from the fedex tracking system.... ah well... sometimes theyre fast others theyre not, depends if the stuff is in stock or not... theyre not the best penpals, but they do have a great selection and great prices

I placed an order with them last year and things ground to a hault pretty quickly when something was out of stock and i tried to select a replacement.

I did email and ring a couple of times but think things got lost in translation a bit, as soon as i got a spanish speaking friend to ring things got sorted straight away and my stuff was with me within the week. Hope you get your stuff though soon!

I know this is an old thread, but here's my 1st experiance them.

Being very budget minded and Needed nice price, decided to chance them after reading this thread.

First emailed them to ask a question. very quick reply in good english.

second ordered, no problem.

third they emailed me telling me one item was out of stock, sorry etc. be about a week.

fourth they emailed me about 4 days later item in stock. was soon sent.

They were very friendly, the english was good (emails)
emails were regular to inform me what was happening.

The only problem I had was the word "speargun" raised hell here in japan trying to get my bits. and it was only small things like gloves, socks, belt etc and a speargun bag.

It took about 2 weeks to get my gear. I'm pretty happy.

Don't know if they have fixed all the previous mentioned problems. But they certainly delivered with perfect service to me. hope this helps anyone else deciding where to order from.

I've always had good service from them, I had to wait 3 weeks for some triggers once (my first order) but other than that they have been brilliant :)

Ordered two things from them just short of this New Year. Received them about three weeks later in perfect condition, got the same message in the meantime, 'not in stock'. Then I went and found some of these threads about SubProf, some were very negative, some more positive. I was thinking, this might be some 'Spanish' thing, 'mañana, mañana', 'what's you hurry, you'll get there soon enough'. So I didn't write a mail of complaint and just waited, and my stuff showed up.
The one bad thing about SubProf (which I think they should change), is that regardless of whether the goods are shipped or in back order, they withdraw your money as soon as you made the order no matter what. This is something I've always learned is really bad E-business, one waits with withdrawing the credit card transaction untill the goods have actually been shipped to the customer.
So in the meantime, if one haven't tried to shop with SubProf before, one can only wonder if someone has just stolen your money through a fake webshop made to look like Scubastore.
But anyway, I got my things, so now afterwards I'm thinking, these guys mean it well and want to make good cash by supplying people with good ocean gear to good prices, but that maybe they should compromise a business tactic or two to improve their image in the process.
