hey guys....
i just got a luck and a half!!!!!!!! went to fetch my omer snorkel and the shop owner told me these okes brought in their equipment cos they moving to Dubai....
so i bought: a picasso wetsuit (used twice!)
a pair of picasso black team flippers
a rob allen float
rob allen gloves
and a pair of booties..
got it all for R2000 and its all only been used twice!
if i had another R1500 i could've gotten the omer wetsuit, 2 weight belts, two omer goggles and snorkels, another pair of black team flippers, a knife, and another pair of rob allen gloves!
plus i just got my rabitech suit today too......lol!rofl

Hehe...at least it basically got a whole spare kit now for the price of a wetsuit in the shops!
it works out to $278.44 at todays exchange rate....

theres a shop in milnerton selling the gear.....if i only had another R1500!!!!!!!
would have a new omer titanium suit plus all those extras! damn!!

the picasso i bought was a 5mm and the omer is a 7mm....the flippers (black team) i got the size 40-42 and theres another set of size 42-44 .....goggles are omer with picasso snorkel....gun is rob allen 90cm....and the rob allen gloves size is medium

Damn nice! Did you put like wall mount for your spear guns? Thats exactly what I want to do. Have a small room that stores my firearms / spearguns and dive gear.

Yea I have two rows of brackets for guns and rods and then a row of brackets to hang my suits from. They will be moving to the cupboard soon though I also hang my float and float lines from these brackets and I now also added a chest to the room to store bags and fins. I have a magnetic knife strip, those they use in kitchens for my knifes. The brackets are just big screw in brackets nothing special (yet) but they do the job.
Edit: The flooring will soon be changed to rubber matting so the wet stuff can get dry in there...

Awesome stuff! I am definatly going to incorporate that into my house. Was it here that I seen that someone created a dive gear storage locker? I am not sure but it may have been on another dive site. He gave detailed instructions on how to create it. Was a very good idea, however I would tweak it for freediving .

Heres the spearo budget extension plan that has worked for me:

1. Go shopping with wife. Point out those rotting expensive "fresh fish" in the supermarket, dull eyes, floppy flesh, stinking of ammonia, and mention that those same "fresh fish" were probably fed pellets containing genetic crap, dyes, hormones etc.

2. Extract well selected chosen morsels from the ocean, clean and offer to wife. Mention cave man type instincts. Ham it up here, it will all be believed.

3. Bribe kids to make "ummmmm" sounds as they eat (if they don't already)

4. That new speargun is closer than you thought.....roflrofl
