The Auckland Freediving Club is holding a Summer Freediving Camp in Lake Taupo (NZ) 3rd to 10th January 2010.
We have rented accommodation by the lake at Tauranga Taupo and the format will be similar to last year (run by LSFC) with diving in the morning followed by other activities in the afternoon.
This year we plan a more structured approach to afternoon activities and are planning Yoga, finswimming training (bring your mono and front snorkels if you have) coached by a commonwealth champion, some altitude training (bring sturdy footwear and warm/windproof clothes), night dive (bring torch), UWH fun game (bring togs plus gear if you have).
Costs include accommodation, basic food, boat use, dive lines, safety gear, deep clear water and of course good company.
Costs are as follows:
The full 8 days immersion - $670
A 4 day session - $350
One Weekend - $250
How to secure your place on the camp:
Email Ruth no later than 12pm this Friday, 18th December on:
ruth.griffin@gmail.com
Full payment and completion of forms (will be sent to you by Ruth in response to your confirmation email) will be required by 29th December
