Headed out yesterday for a quickie, with visiting spearo Fasttruck (you got an open invite anytime your over in Miami again Jason:friday) from the BigApple. Had been planning back&fourth for the past week to head out but the wind and rain prevented us, finally a window opened on Sunday so we headed out on the crack of dawn, on the "Run&Gun". Our first drop in the bay produced a couple of tails and a 'go...weather seemed to be holding out so we hit the ocean...wind was under 2mph, and although day called waves less than 2...it was more like 2'-3' (with a few 4's thrown in for excitement), vis was 15-20', could have been better if the sun would have been smiling on us, the pink plate community seems to finally be calming down...we found a very enticing ledge that was teaming with fish...pulled 2 muts, 4 'gos, 1 mackeral (coincidentally mackeral schools were everywhere...but to far to box'em), and one bandito (hog)...after 2 hours of hunting the weather took a turn for the worse and we managed to make it in, not a second too soon... sorry for the one pix...other fish, long story:crutch
