Suspenders or not?

What is your opinion on suspenders on the pants of a wetsuit?

I have both styles and I prefer the high waist (strapless) over the farmer john for a couple of reasons:
-More comfortable to me
-Less Fabric - less buoyancy
-Less restrictive feeling for full breath ups.

Just for info, I ended up getting both of my wetsuits (3 & 5mm) with high waist (no suspenders) and I am very happy with this choice.
