Suunto D3 with your MAC (OS X)

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.

Dear Mac users,

The Beta release of Divelog version 1.2 supports the Suunto D3. You will need a USB to PC serial adapter. I use a Keyspan USA-19HS and it worked without a glitch.

I don't understand computers worth a darn. Do I need two pieces of software and two of hardware?

You need:
Hardware:
1) D3 computer
2) Suunto D3 download cable- (2 pin to PC serial)
3) Keyspan USA-19HS- (PC serial to USB)
4) Mac computer with OS X
Software
1) Divelog 1.2 Beta http://www.macdivelog.com/
