..hello, for a couple of years now i have had the following problem with my suunto d4i in freedive mode. every time i come to the surface after a dive, the computer still shows a depth of about 0.5m and that's why the dive just continues even though i've already surfaced.. only when i lift my arm up to the surface or out of the water , it stops the dive and switches to surface-time mode. but since i don't think about doing this every time after the dive, i often have various dives in my log after the diving day, some of which are much longer than they really were. my question, can i somehow adjust the depth function that the computer switches automatically back to surface-time mode without having to lift my arm out of the water every time ? thank you for the answer..

Hey Mate,

the d4i is a very common watch and still in production.
Have you tried contacting Suunto directly about the issue?

From what I can gather there is not setting the ambient pressure manually and it might also just be a faulty depth sensor.

Good luck!
