suunto d9

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.

hi all
i am thinking of buying a suunto d9 ,does anybody know anything o
about them ,some advice on them would be most appreciated
,or if someone has preferences on a better one ?

weeeell.... they're very expensive, have all the functions of a Scuba diving computer + the freediving goodness that can go up to 150m... If I was insanely rich I would buy the D9 or the liquivision F1 (even though I still think the F1 is too big for my taste, it's just a personal opinion eric <3).

the D9 is very beautiful and can be used as a watch, but if you're only looking for a freediving computer then the D3 will suffice, if you want a scuba + freediving computer the mosquito will suffice, both for under half the D9's price, they're both ugly though.
 
There are a couple of other options open to you besides the D9, D3, and Mosqito, The Stinger also by Suunto or you can wait until some time in the newyear when Suunto introduces their new watch/computer that is suppose to replace the The Stinger, which will be the D6.
 
you can get D3's on ebay for about 200 bones, i think normaly there 250 or 260 depending on where you look
