Hi guys

It appears like the D9tx has been gifted with FREE mode like the D4 and the new D6i. At least it seems so when going through the manual.
Have any of you had any experience with the D9tx for free diving?
(Asking because I lost my D4 to the sea because strap broke :crutch)

Best regards
H!

"Profile sampling rates in seconds"
"10, 20, 30, 60 s"

no good, if that is true.

In the comparison charge, yes, but on page 63 top in the manual it says 1 sec. in free mode... weird

Just got the following reply from Suunto on their website:

"The Suunto D9tx didn´t originally have a dive FREE mode, but it has been added in the latest software update for the D9tx. The update was released in the end of the year 2012, other new features are Dive OFF mode, Apnea timer in FREE mode and Air Time On/Off setting."

Best regards
H!
