I searched but didnt find the answers i was looking for. im just wondering if anyone knows what all features the gekko has. whats the depth intervals it reads in (how many seconds apart). and does it only read in meters like in the pictures shown (that ive seen).

i just need a basic watch that can record my max depth (in ft) accuratly and time.

The Gekko is a chunky Scuba computer, almost useless for freediving.

It measures 1 minute intervals and does not show seconds so you can't use it for safetying properly either.

I don't know the exact sampling rate but you struggle to get an accurate depth reading at the bottom if you are turning quick. You would need a watch ASWELL to time dives etc so go for the more expensive D4 which I personally think is an excellent freedive (and scuba) watch/computer.
