G'day Bubble Blowers,

Have recently purchased Suunto Mosquito dive computer:) , and pick it up this week. However, I'm not too keen to fork out another $200 for the PC - interface for up-loading dive info no to my PC. I've noticed that they are going cheap on e-Bay, mainly from a German seller who looks like he makes them himself. Has anyone bought one of these on e-Bay, and if so, were they happy with its function.

Cheers

Nursey:)

Suunto is famous for ripping people off for the PC interface. I have heard of several people who actually made their own PC interface. If you search the net for 'make your own stinger mosquito d3 interface' you might find out how to do so.

I bought a D3 Interface on Ebay from a Hong Kong seller for USD$20, the thing works better than the real deal. It's one of the old serial port ones though, not sure what the quality would be like on a USB one. I'd take a chance, it's not like you're betting the house.

Cheers,
Ben

I picked up mine of some woman on www.scubaboard.com.

can;t really help you much past that, but I'm sure a few bost over there and you could find here. works great.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I've learnt since last post that you can actually make your own interface for around $10 - not bad if you're into electronic thingies ( not me unfortunately ). However I'm happy to buy it off someone who has the know-how.

Cheers

Nursey
