Hello mates, we have completed a test pool of 21 different guns, with different settings ... I put the link on youtube video in HD (Slow Motion 4x) and Excel tables of the results in Spanish:

Put the video in full screen at 720p.

At first the marks got 4m. and then move to 6m. for at minute 8:40 aprox. moved from 6 to 8m.

Include Roller Guns, Pneumatic Guns, Enclosed Track Guns, Rail Guns, Wooden etc...

Sorted by Number of shot in the video:

Ordered kinetic energy achieved:

Ordered by Max. kinetic energy achieved:

For Speed reached::

Average speed achieved by:

For distance less than 5m. and sorted by speed reached:

By Distance between 5m. and 7m. sorted by speed reached:

For more than 7m distance. sorted by speed reached:

The speed measurement is made by calculating the frames it takes to get the rod to the target at 60fps. with the shooting distance, I observe corrected to be as accurate as possible, correcting the aberrations of the wide angle even.

For example 8 * 60/17 = 28.2m / s, when the distance are 8m. and 17 the frames.

The pneumatic guns are loaded with excessive load, the 135 to 29AT an the 115 to 26AT, causing much more velocity but many deviation of the spear.

There are several shots where the shooter is inexperienced and not handle well the weapon, such as the videOcean BWH.

The first table help you to identifycate the gun for the order in the video.

I hope you find it useful, and that you like.

Carlos.
