On September 2nd 2006 the Swiss Underwater Sport Federation will host the Swiss Depth Championship in the lake of Zug in Switzerland as National open with guests AIDA freediving competition. The lake and the competition site is located in the scenic foothills of the Swiss alps 25km south of the city of Zurich (international airport and public transport to Zug) and only 5km from the city of Zug. Diving site with the moored float is only 50m from the lake shore. Full infrastructure provided, 5$ camping in the vicinity. Diving will take place from a moored float, 12mm rope, counter ballast system, lanyards required, surface temperature 23°C, temperature at depth down to 4°C at max. depth 70m (Yes we are sorry, but currently no Swiss guy wants to go deeper in the lake ;-) ).
