Here's an adapted version of the press release I wrote for the competition. It would be great it we could have a couple of big names :) Please don't hesitate to pm me :)
Geneva is a major EasyJet hub and now there's a direct flight to Sharm twice a week. Hope to see you soon (it'll be my first ever comp yikes!!)

This year’s Swiss National Indoor Apnea Championships will take place on April 18 2010 at Grand-Vennes, Lausanne. Some 30 athletes will be competing in static and dynamic apnea disciplines where capacity for breath hold and stress management will be crucial to winning a national title.

Organizing this year’s event is local apnea club Immersion Profonde, helped by the Swiss Subaquatic Sports Federation (FSS) and Lausanne City Sport Services. The competition is open to both Swiss and foreign freedivers who have the possibility of validating their performances just before selection for the world championships in Okinawa. Athletes will also get the chance to improve on their AIDA ranking whilst making a stopover in Geneva before both the worlds and Bizzy Blue Hole.

The competition is open to the public and begins at 9am. For more details and registration contact immersion.profonde@bluewin.ch or visit www.immersion-profonde.ch.

I am sure you already have some big names on the list of registered. Is it accessible somewhere on the website? I am sure Christian Maldamé will be there, and couple of other big names certainly too.

According to the organizer's website, more info will follow shortly. Let's hold our breath and see!

Oh well this is like telepathy, I was thinking about e-mailing the organizator today :)

Can you tell me the size of the pool, depth, and will DNF be done in 25m lines or 50m lines? Will there be A level judge and who? I see a WR status for this competition...

Goran, some of the info is in AIDA's calendar:
