Okay everybody,
I took my new Totemsub Tahiti out for a first run yesterday. Fabrizio sent it while I was away a couple weeks. We returned a few days ago so yesterday I gave it a go. Viz was less than idea (5m) so I could not check out the range much but we did have a few visitors. I saw 2 fish, took 2 shots, and got 2 kills.

I really upset a 6 kg Popano. I was hanging on the bottom and he came in on my left, just in viz range (I am a lefty). I was hanging on with my right and quickly swung the gun over and loosed a shot. I SWEAR the look he gave me was one of, " WHAT was THAT"... that is, before he rolled over on his side for me to pull him in :) I was stunned by the ease of the Tahiti after the Riffe c4. The devoto shaft (I had Fabrizio put a 7mm on my Tahiti) went straight through the bone, no stopping to detour. The only noise I heard was the shaft hitting the fish!!!!

Sorry no photos though, left the camera in my excitement.

More to follow when the viz improves (hopefully this weekend)
