Hello! I am new to the sports of Free diving and Spearfishing and live in Tampa. What are the possibilities in terms of training, Spearfishing, and joining groups and clubs? I would like to take a beginners course this Spring. Where are the best places to buy gear in the Tampa area?

Welcome to Deeperblue! Your best bet would be to search the forums with the keyword "Tampa" and browse existing threads. We have some members from the Tampa area, and they have posted information on the diving situation there in the past. I also recommend posting in the USA/Canada subforum, and replying to existing posts.

Wish I could offer some more specific info, but I'm on the opposite coast :)
