I don't think Tanc is a member of DB, so I'll post this link for him. I don't follow this sort of thing, but he says the American record is 175 meters. He lives in Los Angeles, but is a citizen of Australia, so I guess he didn't break the record.

In a thread on another board, he says he regularly does 200 meters in training and was hoping to do better, but he let the stress of competition get to him.
