This sunday, 20th November Tanya Streeter will be hosting a program for the "Wild " series on BBC2 at 5pm. This program features Tanya on the silver banks diving with Humpback Whales.

Next Sundays program Tanya will be in the Galapagos Islands.

thats good news I think you are really suited to doing nature conservation documentaries the last one i saw you in was very good. As an ecologist by profession i think it is a vital contribution to nature conservation to make such programmes. Keep going!!

I hope ya'all get to see it. It was a LOT of fun (and drama, and challenge, and pain, etc!) to make, but I am quietly proud of the result. And next weekend's film about freediving animals in the Galapagos Islands is fun too. Marine Iguanas, Sea Lions, Flightless Cormorants, Penguins - all of them a challenge to keep up with and absoutely beautiful to watch.

THIS is why I dived so deep all these years!!

Thanks for your support - it's been a very challenging step for me to take from freediver to oncamera TV presenter.

NO! I'm multi-tasking!! The films were made in February and May of last year and I still managed to make it to the World Championships this year! Even managed to surprise myself a bit in the pool.

I head off to the Maldives next week to make the next film in the series which will air this time next year. We'll be looking for whalesharks and mantas. So it's all good training for more competitions.......

Nice one. i spent a total of 3 years in the Maldives, and have been on liveaboard all the way from North Male Atoll down to the south in Huvadhoo. the manta shows and whale sharks were truly spectacular, as were the sharks.
