Hey,

I recently picked up a BRAND NEW Riffe island gun for a seriously great price (with spare shaft and Riffe gun bag), but after reading many reviews and threads about this gun, I'm wondering if all the suggested additions of stabilizer wings, shortening shaft overhang, ballasting and changing shaft weights etc is worth it.

I also am used to rear handle guns and this is my first blue water gun (biggest gun at the moment is a Rob Allen 1200 tuna).

I have the option to sell the Riffe and another lesser-used gun and get a TEAKSEA pal 125. It looks and feels awesome, is rear handle and very light for its length.

Does anyone have anything to say for either of these beasts?

Cheers
Stu
