Tech Skin Diving

Looks like some late april fool joke to me. I did not spent time reading it all - seing expressions like "breathhold diver carrying three gas mixtures" or "two independent snorkels" and all that while "the maximal depth is 18m", made me laugh enough not to have to read the rest.

Hard to tell, why would someone go to so much effort! :) my favourite course objective is:

Keep a stern and severe look on their face at all times while at the surface, looking
condescendingly at “non-tech” skin divers in the area while shaking their head and making
an audible “tut” sound through their snorkels.

Yes, that one is wonderful too, and it assured me it could no have been meant seriously. But at PADI you never know :D Finally they also teach that if you keep your dives under a minute, you can (and should) hyperventilate as much as you can. To me it looked like a bad joke too (Sebastian Naslund wrote about it in an April dated thread), but when I asked the officials, I was assured it was real.

Not forgetting that air, EAN21 and trimix 21/0 are all air! What I would expect any snorkel to contain of course. :p
