We got the feedback of D30 1600 dive light from divemaster @andrediving recently. “If you like it put a light on it”, as I wrote a few days ago. Well, for that you need a light to begin with - such as this D30 1600 which I had the pleasure of trying out in Lysekil last weekend!
As a handheld torch I really enjoyed the form factor, just the right size for a comfortable and secure grip, partly thanks to the ridges in the handle, which also made it really easy to open to remove the battery for charging.
With 1600 lumen, 2 hrs runtime on max output and four light color mixes to chose from, it also worked great as a focus light or - as I also used it on this trip, to add some color to mix in with a pair of video lights! I also really appreciated the button which was really easy to use with my dry gloves. Visibility wasn’t great on these dives, but I certainly look forward to using it on my upcoming trips and will share more experiences of using it.”
