Texas Fishing Regulations??????

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.

dose any one know where i can find information on the Texas state spear fishing Regulations? or better yet what they are. it would be a great help...

MSgt. Go www.TPWD Remember that only non-game species can be taken with speargun. Unfortunately that means cobias (ling), any mackeral, Redfish (Red Drum), and some others are off limits. If you are going more than 9 miles off you're now in Federal Waters that have different rules, size and catch limits. Check their size but don't remember it. I'll look & post again.
