I'm new to the site and checking to see who else besides me and my friends around this area are into freediving/spearfishing/kayaking.

There are a group of people in Austin, Dallas, Houston and Corpus Christy.
Contact Don Moore here in the Forum he is doing a Freediving and Spearfishing club here in Texas.

Cheers

Ivan

Hey San Marcos
Definitely contact Don Moore with South Texas Freedivers Association. We just got a group of 5 divers together last week at Lake Travis for some depth training. Don also has a boat to go spearing off the rig in the gulf. Cool guy

Wait, you actually have friends that Spear/Dive too?!? I had to find them on this forum, no one was "crazy enough" to go diving with me.

Yeah man, come hang out with us sometime. You have at least 3 divers just north of ya in Austin, and 3 more down in San Antonio (where I am). Actually, I am planning on moving to San Marcos in the next few months to attend Texas State.

You might also want to check out the "Freedivers in Central Texas" thread, a lot of us have posted in there. Keep in touch. Till Later...
