It's good to see there are people around here interested in freediving, I am converting several of my friends into free divers (at least 5 now). It fact we did the Blanco river on Sunday and the Comal with lights last night. Not deep enough, but at least I was in the water. If interested I am very familair with most bodies of clear water around these parts.

As I get better with this using this site I'am sure I'll get more involved. I seem to spend most of the time here reading the past discussions on spearfishing. I'll have to invest more time at work to this.

I'll check out that South Texas dive club, I'm ready to start taking advantage of others experience rather than learning everything the hard way in this sport.

I placed a thread in the American speargun forum if any of you know much about Riffe's. I hope Don Moore responds, as I have read some of the other posts he has responded too.
