well , the wind stopped blowing for two days, thursday,(thanksgiving) and friday. so we went nearshore to an area we suspect doesnt get hunted much. we were right ! hogfish everywhere. 16 inch average, 21 inches was biggest hog. plus 1 sheepshead one mutton one red.spot is 4.5 miles from my house . 15 to 20 ft of water vis was 20 ft or so .water was cold as hell. i had a 3mil plus a hooded 3 mil vest and was still cold a little. i will definately be visiting again as soon as the wind quits for a couple of days.

question: in the first pic... is that mask an spetton excell- mares tana- sport divers... asking ;cause I just bought one but haven't used it yet... all I can say fits very comfy and the nose pocket is very soft and longer than usual... a feature I haven't seen even on pricey mask... I would apreciate if you tell me what you think of that mask :) thanks in advance.

that is an omer alien. it is my most recent mask purchase. recently, i have been buying, mares x vision. (i lose 2 to 3 a season!)(i dive ALOT!) i bought like 3 of them. i think i like the omer a little beter. i also have an omer exclusive abyss that is really nice also. in my bag as we speak i have the two omer masks: alien and abyss exclusive and a cressi mask too as a backup . i think it is a matrix. it is prety good too. the best mask i have ever had was a mare x vision liquid skin. that is by FAR the softest rubber i have seen .! easily! but 89.95 is alot of money! the regular x vision masks are like 60$ so , in the normal price ranges of 45$ to 65$ then the omer masks are the best. i have had two riffe masks that were good also , but not great.

thank you for your answer... well I was wrong... looked like mine, anyways yeah a perfect fitting mask is hard to find, between my fav is a riffe naida wich I use when spearing with tinted glass and japanesse silicon skirt ,got it for 80 bucks in a miami dive shop and then a pure instinct start elite also mirrored wich I would like to sell for a few bucks of the actual cost.

ps: great catch.. hope I could go diving as much as you do .safe spearing!!

these are pics of a couple of my guns with my two buddies guns. all are riffe except my homemade beast in the middle. the euro 110 has the reel on it
