Headed outa Miami early(as in 4:30:blackeye) with Al & Tony (son) this Friday for another hunt with Sporascrub outa Long Key...conditions called for 0-10 from the SE with 2-3'...and party cloudy conditions...3 letters N-O-T....gear in the boat by 7'ish hit the first drop by 8'ish, seas were 3-4' with some wake up 5's vis was under 10 feet and current was unrelentlessly ripping (probably due to the full moon)...hunted for about 10 hours straight in 20-40 feet, SS shot a trophy Porgy went about 20", and a very nice permit...I shot my first AP, my red was taxed by an 8' bull, Al and trusted sidekick put the hurt on some yellows and 'gos...the rest the pics tell best...unfortunatelythe rest of the fish did not fit on the deck:t ...we got back by 7'ish and were met by the SS crew with delicious homemade rice&beans a fried assortment of fish...and to top it off a one of a kinda "cake-flan" dessert thx for a great time again SS...unfortunately the day came to an end and the drive back home was uninviteable...
