Hello- I am selling this copy of "THE BIG BLUE" It is in English and has Greek Subtitles. I bought it off ebay- the listing said it was "REGION FREE" but when I got it - It says PAL Region 2 on it :rcard So....I can't watch it. I'm Selling it for $13.00(US Dollars) And that includes shipping (Worldwide)

I can take PAYPAL - Send me a PM - if interested.

Whoa there Scott, hold your horses for a sec....

Every DVD player is set to a region, but they also have an over riding code to make them region free. As far as I know, every DVD has this. If you search the internet for things like Region Free DVD then you should get lucky, there are websites that have each make and model and list how to override the region. It's typically a sequence of numbers on the remote, with the drive door open. Strange but works. Avoid the websites that ask you to download software or you have to pay, the good ones should just be a website with a search function.

See how you go - i'd hate to deny you such a cool movie

Cheers,
Ben (region 4 dude living in region 2 )

Thanks Ben! - I will have to give that a try. I do remember my PS3 asking me which region.

So, I guess this DVD may NOT be for sale. - Sorry.

I converted all my household DVD players from single region to multi region by exactly this method. Got the codes off the Net and entered them as instructed. Worked every time - for me anyway.

Dave

PS think most DVD drives in PC's are multi region, so always watch it on the computer if all else fails.

I tried it in my Laptop and still- no go- Haven't tried it yet with my dvd player- cause I'm at work ) at least for another hour and a half.

When I first moved to the UK I put a UK dvd in my Aussie laptop and played it, it gave me a warning saying I had 4 non Australian region plays left, after which on the 4th DVD, the player would reset to that region and I could not change it afterwards. This freaked me out a bit so I haven't put any other DVD's in the laptop since.

I'm sure you could region-free laptops too but I haven't looked into it.
