The Blue Wild - Film Festival
Wow! I just reviewed famed Australian freediver Rob Torelli’s submission for the Film Festival at this year’s Blue Wild Expo. For 50 minutes, Rob takes us throughout the Southern Hemisphere where he brings us fantastic images of sharks, whales, dolphins - all captured while freediving in some of the most exciting and pristine environments left on Earth
I’ve been asked to coordinate and present the first-ever Film Festival devoted to diving and spearing. I will be presenting high-definition footage taken last year, which includes footage from Speargun Hunter, California diving, and an incredible bait ball off Mexico’s Baja peninsula. In addition, we have submissions from South Africa and Greece, which we are also reviewing for submission and will be shown for the first time in the United States.
The Film Festival follows the Divers Direct Happy Hour on Friday night. The entry fee is $15, and the first 200 will get a free DVD of my HD show. All videographers contributed without compensation, as it’s for a great cause (The Boca Raton Society for the Disabled).
For those of you that can make it to the Expo this year, we hope you enjoy! For more info...... The Blue Wild Spearfishing Seminar and Expo
See you there,
Terry Maas
