Came across this new gun (anticipation found on an italian forum). It's called the C4 Mr. Iron, and it's a "budget friendly" version of the C4 Mr. Carbon.

Main and only difference between the two is that the well known Mr. Carbon has titanium muzzle and trigger, while the new Mr. Iron has stainless steel Muzzle and trigger (in a nice brownished finish).
Due to the cost gap between titanium and steel, this new one is said to be significantly cheaper than the pricey carbon-titanium version.
Waiting for prices to comment. Available from mid October....

Here's a pic of the whole gun. Monocoque no-joint construction, made of Carbon T700 Magaforce fiber.

Open muzzle "PS" type (no screws: it's got the thingies to tie your own bands from bulk rubber).

friggn italian cheapo!
mr carbon is the real thing! anything else sucks

Dear Marwan, you may don't understand what's mr iron is:
Mr carbon and Mr iron are made by the same company, C4, are exactly the same gun, exact same monoscocca shape and same carbon quality, T700. As already explained the only difference is on the muzzle and trigger that on mr iron are made in steel, on mr carbon in titanium and of course in price, that is the new!
Stell is more heavy than titanium but we are talking about a few gr.

Back in Italy a lot of people criticized mr carbon cause its price, too expensive, so Mr Bonfanti, owner of c4, came out with this idea.
Mr iron is an exact copy of a mister carbon with muzzle and trigger made in steel, that's all! Mr iron is also print by the same moulds used to do the Mr carbn monoscocca, the c4 company did not buy new moulds, did not spend money and time in research of a new project so, for these reasons, mr iron comes with a cheeper price.

Ciao

Hi Spaghetti,

Thanks for the news! Please let us know the price once you hear it. I wonder how much cheaper it will really become.

Lannabulls, Marwan is joking, I believe he already owns a C4 Mr. Carbon, among others.

Cheers,
Claudio

Marwan owns them all, from Comanche 60 to Wong Hybrid Magnum. But now he's landlocked in West Virginia and can't shoot either! :head

Marwan, hear the Ocean calling your name: "Marwaaaaaan, come baaaaaack! Maaaaarwaaaaaannnnn.......come baaaaaaaaaaaaack.....!"

Excuse me Marwan and everybody,
i'm new on this forum and i don't know jet your set up, experiences, etc.
Ciao

Prey tell Mt. Spaghetti, where can one purchase such a weapon? And at what cost?

I'm following the case through italian forum Bluworld, where C4 owner posts in. He says the Mr. Iron will be 20% cheaper than the Mr. Carbon. As for availability, he's shipping the first stock out to stores in these days.
I'll let you know in the next days.
BTW: C4 says there's a new type of fins too................

Thanks for posting this Spaghetti, I have been knocking the shit out of the fish here in So-Cal this year with my Mr Carbon , My Freinds always say " wow i need that gun" untill i tell them the price ,, maybe this will help ,, Joe

Honestly, I dont think that ~50 g of titanium replaced with 316ss is worth a €180 difference. The C4 company has good reputation and can /will continue to sell their products at very high prices despite the mr iron marketing trick.
