Fixing an Omer Tempest 70 for a mate, have stripped it right down, and replaced the o-rings e.t.c.

Put it back together and it seems to be leaking.

The leak comes from the front of the gun, and when put about 30 pumps in it and slowly push the piston back and wiggle the spear you can hear the leak.

I've just tried 3 different pistons in it, and r-greased everything, also replaced the front main barrel o-ring, and the inner barrel oring, with the same result, all the rings and threads are greased properly e.t.c.

The muzzle unit is old and the shock absorber is cracked a bit, so the piston comes a little further forward than it should, thats my only hunch really...but unless the inner barrel is scored (and it doesnt seem to be), I can't think of any reason why the gun is leaking really.

Any ideas or other things I could try to narrow down the problem?

dude u need to stick it in a bathtub I had a similar problem with a SAeC and it turned out that the plastic line retainer on the sight piece had a hairline crack n leaking if u stick it in a bathtub u will locate it
good luck
