Been sorting some of my old pictures in connection to another thread.

Thought this was worth posting. Details of gear are:

Home made, quater inch, unlined neoprene wetsuit, glued and rubber taped; 60 cubic foot 1800psi steel spiro tank with mechanical reserve valve and extension lever; clip on shoulder straps and jock strap to special weight belt buckle; Royal minstral, twin hose, 2 stage, diaphram regulator; SOS mechanical decompression meter (Bendy meter); Mask of unknown origin but note frame clamp.

Unseen fins were one of the original pairs of Beuchat Jet fins.

Ahh! Memories.

Thanks Dave
You have one up on me. I bought a few of those suits but never built one. Except for the Beuchat label (didn't see that until 90s), the rest seems vaguely familiar.
Aloha

Hi Dave,

Thanks for the memories. Some of that stuff was still around when I started diving, used my SOS meter proudly for years . We called'em "bendsomatics" and well named.
