ya, right....., its been quite a while since i've done any kind of diving....
actually, I talked with Mandy-Rae, and she said that some of the filming was done down in Cayman when they were doing they're records, and that performance freediving was helping them out with back ground info etc.

Just saw the premiere in San Diego... really fabulous. Was a new focus showing the positive side of free-diving... no one was killed off! Seriously though, great film for those in touch with the deeper side of diving and it hit true on the technical aspects of free diving as well. The film will be doing the film festival circuit this year and then going to dvd. No exact time yet, but I think I saw a reporter from DeeperBlue at the premiere, so he'll be keeping everyone up to date. I'll mention to the director to keep Australia in mind. After all, he proposed to his now wife on Manly Beach during the Sydney Games. For more info, see http://www.gmwmovie.com/
The movie website lists a June 2 screening in Malibu, California. I sent an email asking for specifics. I presume a connection with the PFI class starting June 3.
Hmm, looks like it is dead. Unfortunately, I saw it happen to several other freediving movie projects. It's a pity. You can still see the GMW website at Archive.org
