The hornet here,
just saw your site & was interested in its format as I began spearfishing 5 years ago. I normally hunt anything from Ling Pollock flatfish the occasional Sea Bass & mullet.I really would like to hunt big species found around Ireland's coast & was wondering can any of the Irish Spearos tell me are there any other species of fish to be had in our shores I could hunt as I really love this sport & the challenges it poses. Some years back I speared one large fish I think were Tuna? in a pod of 5, it was a great battle & the highlight of my fishing so far, was this a fluke or are there similar species about.
These fish were 3 & half feet long possibly 40 pounds, looking forward to hearing from ye
Mick
