:hmm"Rescue Shelter Boys" sounds like a good name for a spear fishing team.

Hey, wait a minute, I thought PETA said they were against pets?! And didn't they put down thousands of animals at one of their shelters (in CA I think?!).

I met a woman walking a fairly old German shepherd & a basset hound at the weekend -an odd but strangely complimentary pair - both from a rescue shelter she assured me (excellent pets & guard dogs by their look and behaviour). I guess PETA would consider her cruel in keeping the animals as pets.

Yes they did. In fact, they euthanize an average of 95% of the animals that they take in. You won't find a more hypocritical or misanthropic organization than PETA.

Cute dogs! They certainly don't appear to be suffering from old age or anything else

Those are just sample pics for illustration, the shepherd was leaner and greyer. They were impressively well behaved, especially consider where they'd come from.
