Sing along to the tune of 'Good King Wenceslas'

Kirby, King and Co. looked out
Near the feast of Stephen
A cold wind blowing round about
The car park so uneven
The saltFree'ers all got kitted up
Tho' water looked quite cruel
Longing for hot tea in cup
And greasy burger fuel

Sam was fully rubber-clad
Her gimp hood frightened many
Tinsel Donna made Deep Dave sad
For he'd not come with any
Generously she tagged his todge
With a sprig of tinsel glittering
The hungry pike he had to dodge
With all the others tittering

The apneists chose their depths with care
None dared to overstate
A reason good to make it there
Were chocolates on the plate
Naomi had a second try
Before she pulled up double
She wouldn't let it pass her by
And made it worth the trouble

Dives all done and angels back
From their protective mission
When dry and warmth the divers lack
It must come to fruition
Back on land in chamber warm
They discussed next celebration
A nearby Inn they planned to storm
( That was the expectation )

The Inn was duff - the plan was scrapped
Instead back to The Castle
For food and wine it seemed most apt
For the revellers each with parcel
Glasses chinked and speeches made
Gifts were thus presented
Some had lights, with some you played
And some were heavily scented.

saltFree's first season at a close
- no wounds - no salt for rubbing
Now some were tired and some had chose
To head off for some clubbing
Well done to Sam and Laura too
For all their drive and passion
Next year we'll thrive - that's what we'll do
In true freediving fashion

What a fantastic carol Barry - I wish I had your talent.....
