This is how to make your white sauce more creamy.

Season your bechamel sauce very well. Garlic (finely minced or powder), nutmeg and black pepper are a must, and of course salt. I'd also add some onion powder as well.

I think a good quality butter makes a big difference as well. A European butter like Finlandia, Plugra, etc.

If making a cheese sauce, good quality Parmesan works well.

You can also add herbs. Tarragon, thyme, etc.
