Hello! I am going to the Philipines in january to take some freediving courses. I am starting out in Moalboal and will continiue to Bohol. After this im not sure, but I am looking at Negros, Siquijor, Palawan and Malapascua. If anyone has tips to make my Choices easier it would be great! Thanks!

Hi Marie,

There are several options in Moalboal, not limited to the following three:
http://www.freediving-planet.com/ (AIDA)
http://www.freediving-philippines.com (AIDA)
http://elementfreedive.com (Pure Apnea)

Being an AIDA-instructor myself I would naturally lean towards recommending one of those courses, but I have also taken courses with Element Freedive and was happy about them.

There are currently three places to learn freediving in Bohol (all in Panglao):
http://www.freedive-panglao.com (AIDA / SSI)
https://www.facebook.com/freedivingseaexplorers (SSI)
http://www.justonebreath.com (<= This is me! AIDA)

Of course, pick the last one! If not, I've taken courses with Freedive Panglao myself and have only good things to say about them.

I notice from one of your other posts that you are Norwegian, so if being able to talk about freediving in your native langauge should count for anything, look me up! (also Norwegian)

I am not aware of any freediving schools in Palawan at the moment, but I expect Freediving Planet to open up in El Nido before your arrival. I used to be based in Coron, North of Palawan, and still teach there from time to time. Freediving in the lakes there is absolutely amazing.

Thanks! Great info! Har dere pakker hvis man ønsker å ta både 2 og 3 stjernes kurset? Vi skal bo på Calypso, holder du til i nærheten?
