I bought my first euro gun this weekend, a nice new 110 RA Vecta from FF, and took home into the canal to try and load it since I hear about how hard they are to load and boy did it kick my butt :ko I went to the RA site and check out the loading page and tried it that way but it still wasn't any easier, I need help :duh ! Can anyone provide me with a few tips I got the two band muzzle and also need to which order to load them in, I assume the band on the top goes into the first knotch and the band on the bottom goes to the 2nd knotch. Any tips and additional info would be great. Thanks!

Hiya

Congrats on the new gun!!!! Great weapon!!!

Regarding the loading issue.......well, we ALL battled to load our Railguns!!

There are a few things which make loading the gun easier. Wear a loading pad on your wetsuit. Your chest will still get bruised, but after a short while, the bruising goes away and NEVER returns:D. Wear gloves, they do help. Also remember that loading it in the water is easier than loading it on land, safer too.

That said, remember that loading it is more tecnique than brute strength. I assume that you have twin 16mm bands on. They're not very difficult to load. Try this:
Hold the gun's grip in your right hand.
Now grab the rubber with your left, very close to the wishbone.
keeping the gun horizontal, PUSH the guns handle onto your chest. Look at your wetsuits loading pad, thats where the guns butt should be.
The left hand should still be holding the rubber, which will be under slight tension.
Now use you right hand and grip the same rubber, also close to the wishbone.
Pull back the rubber with both hands, whilst pushing your chest forward.
EASIER said than done!!

If you're still battling, put a additional loading notch about 20cm in front of your first notch. Then load it to the loading notch, THEN to the proper notch.

Hope this helps!!

Thanks Miles, I picked the RA due to everyones recommendations even though I heard of the difficulty loading it. I can't wait to actually use. Thanks again for the input.
