wow! it was a great day! woke up, ate, then met up with Nadeem and then marwan and few other guys and we wnet spearing. the viz sucked in the beggining, maybe two meters at the most...
vis improved and we kept on fishing. i had a hard time cuz im really out of shape..
anyways. as am ascending from one of my 40sec dives (most of my dives were in the 45-30 sec range) i see this fiskar. given that the gun is a 110, i figure i just might get it. i pull the trigger, sending the shaft out and keep on ascending to the surface.. pull it up, and vualla wadda ya know, there is the faskar on my shaft
later on the vis improves greatly, something like 6 meters.. im starting to get tired and im on the surface when i see a school of what looks like jacks swimming right at my feet. by this time my dives are 30 seconds tops.. i try to be stealthy and swim away so that i can drop down and sneak up on them using the rocks as cover.. and it sorta works except for the fact that i end up closer to the surface than the fish. the ugre to breath is taking over, so as i ascend i pull the trigger and i send the shaft out. next thing i know i feel the shaft shaking and shivering. stoned the fish. yuppee...
