My idea was to see whether the knot would untie or the line would break. Because the result was breakage of the line, I suppose using some glue would be a good idea to secure a knot.

Great, one of your best vids yet!
I loved the knot tying demo & the funny bit too...

Testinig the strength of the knot with only 5 wraps of line (mono 1 mm) over the sliders neck. Mono is 120 lb (60 kg). I measured it before and it was breaking on 50 kg so I did not use a dynamometer this time.

Applying glue to the neck of the slider:

I used this knot for the hook

I made blue marks on the line so I could see if the would be any tendency to untie. I neither finished the knot using the lighter to make a small ball on the line end next to the slider.

I was using Easy Loader to produce tension on the line.

Here is a video of Testing:

The knot did not untied, so using a glue is a good practice.

One interesting knot for tieing the slider, maybe the best. Without glue... This is proposal of my friend Maurizio.

I think I found the best knot for tying nylon in the Tomba Slider. It is not good to use super glue.

To conclude, to be clear:
Per concludere, per essere chiari:

To tie climax or spectra to tomba slider use constrictor knot.
Per legare climax o spettri di scorrisagola Tomba uso constrictor nodo.

To tie nylon line to tomba slider use snell knot.
Per legare il filo di nylon alla tomba scorrisagola uso Snell nodo.

I think that this knot would be a good choice too!
