i think Sam is who top freedivers really need to beware of!

What we mean by 'non-competitive by nature' is, you don't take every dive session as a competion and try to beat the other people there.

We want to encourage a friendly and open atmosphere, so everyone can relax and enjoy thier dive whatever the depth!

The disruption from someone who is very competitive and wants to be the best over everyone, is huge that it ruins the other divers day out. :ban

And i'm sure everyone here know the length that divers go to just so that they can have a short fun dive with friends!!!

Cause otherwise that would mean i'm out of the group :waterwork

it's ok - I understand. The SaltFree ethos is similar - you are welcome to come along and compete with yourself but you have to respect that everyone else is doing the same and give them the treatment you want on your dive when they take their turn - no room for heroes and the person diving to 15m gets the same respect as someone bringing up rocks from the bottom....
